Virtual infrastructure management toolkit.
Vortex allows you to easily start, stop and deploy virtual boxes on VirtualBox and Amazon EC2 - the default providers. It also provides a quick and convenient way to do provisioning via Roost.
A system provisioning toolkit.
Roost goes beyond just provisioning really and it has been successfully used in other project of ours such as Vortex. Think of it as a glorified task manager that uses simple configuration files and plugins.
It puts Docker on any platform.
VxDocker is essentially a wrapper around Vortex. It uses virtualization to bring Docker's native Linux features on other platforms such as Windows, Mac OS and even older versions of the Linux kernel.
